Spag Heddy is one of the hottest names in the Dubstep scene right now. Laying down his tomato bass filled beats since 2011, he has become one of the more unique characters in the EDM world. With a dedicated fan base he calls the “Meatball Mafia”, don’t be surprised to see many pasta themed fan signs in the crowd at this years Imagine Fest. If you get a chance to catch his set, make sure to stretch and properly hydrate before your workout. He will have the crowd moving the entire time. With a new EP this year and an upcoming fall tour he is definitely an artist you are not going to want to miss.
Bleep Bloop describes his musical world as ” one of stripped back, bass-heavy beats paired with stark, surreal soundscapes. Aggressive and off the wall sounds weave in and out of heavy drums as he blends genre’s into a low frequency style that works as well at a festival as it does in your headphones.” I find even this to be a gross understatement. Bleep Bloop knows how to send sound through your entire being. Sometimes slow and heavy, some times fast and pulsing he has a knack for controlling crowd movements. Fans fortunate enough to catch his set at Imagine fest will be walking away with a new found respect for this artist of sound.
The Funk Hunters
The Funk Hunters are the most perfect balance of Hip Hop, Funk and Beats. This duo from Vancouver Canada has hypnotized crowds with their groovy beats at some of the largest festivals this country has to offer. They bring their unique musical styling’s to this years Imagine Fest and will most likely be one of the most talked about performances this year. Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith do not mess around when it comes to crowd pleasing.
Leah Culver formely known as MKUltra, decided she wanted to spread some positive vibes so she decided to drop the alias and continue to create dance beats under her own name. She is most known for her Hardstyle Electro sound but she is also a Singer, Producer and even the creator of her own animation series called Leah Land. Leah is one of the hardest working women in the industry today and is certain to earn the respect of new listeners at Imagine.
While very little is known about Boogie T beyond the fact that he is from Lafayette LA and his beats are off the hook. Don’t believe me? Check out his Soundcloud. Described as a mix of DubStep, Drumstep, Trap and Boogie Grooves this guy certainly knows his way around the decks. If you aren’t fortunate enough to catch him at Imagine Fest this year, make sure to catch him touring the country until mid October. This guy is amazing and you will definitely be hearing about him more and more in the years to come.
